The youngest member of the family’s birthday is one occasion that deserves a big celebration. And among the many birthday party ideas, there’s the theme party.
If your little one knows the words to “Let it go!” off by heart, we’ve got just what you’re looking for! A ton of ideas to help you organise the best Frozen birthday party, so they can enjoy a fairy-tale afternoon.
In this post we’ll give you the secret to celebrating an unforgettable birthday in Arendelle. It’s going to be exciting!
Recreating Arendelle
It’s very important to make the party feel just like Arendelle, transporting you to one of Disney’s most magical worlds.
The blues of the glacier ice, shining bright details like glistening drops of ice and a white background like a blanket of snow. Imagination is key!
Take a look at some of these amazing ideas!
You could sprinkle a little artificial snow on the table, on the furniture and the floor. A finishing touch that will surprise your friends!
Making artificial snow is easy, all you need is bicarbonate of soda and conditioner. Put a little bicarbonate of soda in a bowl and add conditioner little by little until it becomes the texture of snow. Once done you can keep it in the freezer until the party.
You could also make some snowflakes out of paper or cardboard, like in this tutorial:
The Invitations
To make sure your guests arrive to the party on time, you’ll need to send out some invites. Why not let Elsa, Anna or Olaf write to your little one’s friends? It will take the party to a whole different level.
Additionally, if you want your best “VIPs” to come, why not print off some tickets similar to these “Rook No. 17” tickets that you can find online and include them with your invites?
Garlands and Streamers
Once the invitations are sent and you’ve chosen your Frozen party colours, all that’s left is to get to work on the decoration. Don’t skimp on the decorations: garlands, streamers, Frozen cut-outs, centrepieces…
Posters with Elsa and Anna welcoming your guests to the party, Olaf as the guest of honour…
Or you can make your own decoration for the front door, using Olaf’s face. Just like this:
You could also decorate each room with some frozen landscape designs, and some hanging snowflakes like these:
You could combine the Frozen garlands and banners with other hanging decorations. like pom poms or paper fans in purple, blue, white, or even pink.
Balloons
Balloons are always a sure thing when it comes to decorating the house for a birthday party. You can do it with these Frozen themed balloons, with drawings of the main characters like Elsa, Anna and Olaf.
You can even combine these Frozen balloons with other coloured balloons, just like our garland suggestion.
Table Decorations
Don’t forget to decorate the table. In the Arendelle banquets there are always plenty of elegant decorations: tablecloths, cups, plates, napkins, cutlery, straws, centrepieces, figurines, cake stands… Choose between decorations printed with Olaf or Elsa and Anna in Frozen or Frozen 2, or combine it with plates, cups and napkins in plain colours.
Take care of the details and you can create the best Frozen party table you can imagine.

Frozen Birthday Recipes: Cakes and Cupcakes
Let’s cut to the bit where everyone sings happy birthday to the birthday girl… Will they blow out the candles on a cake or a cupcake?
You can decorate them with cake toppers, put them on unique and decorative cake stands in the middle of the table, or decorate the cake with Frozen figurines. Whatever you want!
If you want to add a special (and icy) touch to the sweets and drinks at your Frozen party, we’ve got some ideas:
- 1. For adults you can prepare some blue cocktails with “Blue Tropic”, mixed with some pineapple juice or peach liquor. For the little ones, use some blue food colouring in water to give it a “Frozen” look.
- 2. You could also use gelatine to make these sweet blue ice cubes:
Let the party begin!
With everything ready, all you need to do is relax and have fun!
You can prepare some goody bags or boxes for the guests, which have masks of some of the Frozen characters inside:
You could also give out some tiaras to the guests, so they feel like princesses, just like Elsa and Anna:

3. Colour Your Favourite Characters
If the little ones love to colour, get the pencils and felt tips ready!
